Corporate Group Photographer
Group photographs of corporate employees are usually better shot indoors if there is a large enough indoor space to do the shoot. The lighting is more controlled, softer and the employee's faces easier to see. However, many corporate groups are so large that an outdoor photograph is the only option. In this case, it is important to use a simple, uncluttered background, and to control the angle of the sun. A day with light, wispy clouds provides the best light, as the subject's faces do not have harsh shadows.
Davis Photographic uses studio flash for most indoor portraits, and portable flash to fill the shadows in outdoor portraits. When the portable flash is not powerful enough to fill the shadows on the faces of large groups, PhotoShop retouching can reduce the contrast and make the picture much better.
Davis Photographic has produced group photos for many major corporations, including Sony Ericsson (cell phones), Intel Corporation (computer chips), Wyeth Pharmaceuticals (Robitussin, Advil, Chap Stick, Preparation H, Primatene brands) and NASA (space exploration). We have the experience needed to put your employees in their best light. |
